Begin with the end in mind. It is highly recommended to use AI to create two lists. Key phrases and mentions.
For Key Phrases, use a prompt such as: “Please write a list of search terms that customers of (website url) would use to find vehicles for sale, vehicle service, and vehicle parts. Please include city and state in each key phrase and provide it in a comma-separated format.”

There is no preset limit on the number of key phrases; however, processing may take longer. Regular members may add and edit key phrases as often as they would like.
It is important to include variants (e.g., CHEVY for Chevrolet Dealerships) and common misspellings of the business name.

Step 2: Enter your business information
Next, provide your business details. Start with your business name, which should match the name customers know and use to search for you. If you have a website, enter the full website URL.
Step 3: Add your city, state, and ZIP code
Enter the primary city, state, and ZIP code for the business. This information helps the platform understand your market area and supports more accurate search phrase development and mention tracking.
Step 4: Define what customers will search for
In the field labeled What Will the Customer Search For, enter the search phrases a customer might realistically use when asking AI tools about businesses like yours. These should be natural, intent-based phrases such as “Chevy dealer in Goshen” or “best place to buy a used Ford near Elkhart.” Enter at least 3 search terms. Press Enter or use a comma after each term to add it.
Step 5: Add mention terms
In the Mention Terms field, enter the names, variations, or website terms that should count as a valid mention of your business. This can include your business name, shortened versions of the name, common misspellings, or your domain name. This field is optional, but completing it will improve tracking accuracy.
Step 6: Verify your email address
After submitting the form, check your email for a verification message. You must verify your email before you can proceed with setup or begin using the platform. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder.

Before finishing, review all information for accuracy. Because the platform uses this information to monitor visibility, mentions, and search behavior, even small errors can affect results.
