Geo Zoning
Six-Foot Geo Targeting
Geo Zoning is geo-fencing on steroids. Accurate to six feet, it lets us target — or exclude — anyone who enters a specific location. Conquest competitor showrooms by department, isolate conferences and events, drop in employees automatically, and serve ads on the devices customers actually use at home.
What We Deliver
- Six-foot targeting precision
- Department-level competitor conquest
- Conference & event targeting
- Cross-device household resolution
Beyond Standard Geo-Fencing
Traditional geo-fencing draws a radius around a location and serves ads to anyone whose phone enters it. The problem is radius-based fencing is imprecise — a 100-meter radius around a competitor showroom also captures people in the adjacent restaurant, office building, and parking lot. Geo Zoning uses building-level polygon mapping accurate to six feet, so you target the showroom floor specifically, not the surrounding block.
- Six-foot precision polygon targeting: map individual buildings, lots, or specific departments within a large facility
- Competitor showroom department targeting: fence only the new car showroom, or only the service drive, or only the finance office
- Cross-device resolution: a visitor captured on their work phone is also served ads on their home tablet, laptop, and spouse's device through household IP resolution
- Extended audience window: retarget visitors up to 30 days after they entered the fenced area
- Exclusion zones: remove your own employees and staff from the audience automatically using a separate exclusion fence
- Real-world conversion tracking: match ad-served devices back to physical visits at your own dealership to measure foot traffic lift
Use Cases That Work for Dealers
Geo Zoning is most effective when the target audience is physically concentrated in a specific location. These are the highest-ROI applications for automotive.
- Competitor conquest: target everyone who visits a rival dealer's showroom in the past 30 days with your inventory and offers
- Auto show and event targeting: fence the booth floor at NADA, a regional auto show, or any industry conference
- Service conquest: target visitors to competitor service drives to capture off-brand service customers
- Auction lot targeting: fence wholesale auctions to serve your inventory listings to dealers actively buying
- High-traffic competitor zones: fence CarMax, Carvana vending machine locations, or independent lots in your market
- OEM regional event targeting: capture attendees at manufacturer-sponsored training events and regional meetings
